Season of Care and Cheer Azuna Donates 500 "Trendy Buffalo" Coloring Books to Oishei Children's Hospital
Buffalo-Born Company Partners with Local Artist Caitlin Krumm to Brighten Holiday Season for Young Patients

This holiday season, the spirit of Buffalo is coming alive in a uniquely colorful way at Oishei Children's Hospital (OCH). Thanks to a generous donation from Azuna, a Buffalo-born air quality company, 500 specially designed "Trendy Buffalo Care & Cheer with Azuna" coloring books are being distributed to children and families at the hospital, bringing joy, creativity, and community connection during the holiday season.
A Buffalo Celebration in Every Page
Created by local signature artist Caitlin Krumm, whose vibrant Trendy Buffalo artwork is displayed throughout OCH's lobby and the 10th-floor Sports Floor, this special coloring book features 12 playful Buffalo-themed illustrations. From football and hockey buffalo characters to healthcare heroes in scrubs, each page celebrates the strength, spirit, and heart of Buffalo.
"My Trendy Buffalo collection has always been about celebrating what makes our city special," says Krumm. "This coloring book was inspired by my sons, Carter and Casey, who got me started creating coloring pages because we love to color together. I hope these pages bring the same joy to families at OCH that coloring brings to ours."
The coloring book includes characters like:
- Trendy Buffalo in sports gear (football, hockey, baseball, and lacrosse)
- Doctor and nurse buffalo celebrating healthcare heroes
- Buffalo skyline and Buffalo-style accessories (bows, glasses, scarves, and Zubaz)
Each illustration is paired with uplifting sayings like "Buffalo Strong, Buffalo Proud!" "Healing with Heart & Hope!" and "Kindness is My Superpower!"
Azuna: Fresh Air, Fresh Start
The donation comes from Azuna, a company founded by Buffalo's own Scott Dancy, which is revolutionizing air care with plant-based tea tree oil technology. Distribution Day: December 22, 2025
On Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:45 a.m., Krumm, Azuna representatives, and OCH staff will gather in the hospital lobby to distribute the coloring books to children and families. The team will also participate in the NICU Family Art Hour, offering a special creative moment for families in the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
"Art has an incredible power to heal, comfort, and bring people together," adds Krumm. "During challenging times, something as simple as a coloring page can provide a welcome distraction, a creative outlet, and a reminder that this community is here to support them."
